     Jack Earl St. John, age 81, of Wellston died November 22 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

He was born August 26, 1930 in Keego Harbor, son of the late Martin and Eleanor (Fisher) St. John. He attended Keego Harbor High School.
On August 15, 1958 Jack married Mary K. Nelson at Christ Lutheran Church in Waterford. He was employed for 22 years as a welder at Manistee Welding, retiring in 1992.

Jack was a very creative person and a friend to all he met.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Mary Kay St. John; children Kacy (Christine) Bondy of Sterling, Va,, Jeanette Zeilinger of Marion, Kittie (David) Akes of Richmond, Kan., Marci St. John of Wellston, David St. John of Manistee, Jill (Jack) VanMaanen of Wellston, Amy (Richard) Jans of Manistee; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Vickie Adkins.

Cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time.
The family has entrusted funeral arragements to Oak Grove Cremation Center.
